Our Health
Our Health is a quarterly, ad-free magazine that seeks to provide biblically balanced, comprehensive health education to conservative Christians. Using scientifically accurate information, the magazine explores numerous health-related topics in a friendly, understandable manner.
Back Forty Creative teamed up with Anabaptist Health Ministries to help establish the Our Health brand through identity design, magazine design, trade show displays, and various marketing materials.
We started by designing a primary logo representative of the brand’s values and holistic approach to content. From there we developed the magazine masthead and the rest of the brand’s logo palette. We then established a dynamic color system and drafted a style guide to ensure consistent branding across all future materials.
We implemented their new branding across print marketing materials to encourage people to subscribe to the magazine. Our Health also had us develop a trade show and event display setup. We designed a backdrop and a pair of pull-up banners to create an inviting and informative setting, poised to give viewers a positive first impression and spark their interest to learn more about the magazine.
The magazine is the cornerstone of Our Health’s brand, serving as the focal point around all marketing materials. It was crucial to develop an intuitive and visually captivating style for the first issue that would also be adaptable for future editions.
To ensure a consistent flow and rhythm across all issues, we established a grid system and created a series of templates for both the magazine’s interior sections and its covers. All magazine templates and styles are detailed in the brand style guide, ensuring that each issue follows a cohesive, branded approach.
